Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)
This Sunday is Youth Sunday. We are actually having Youth Sunday every fifth Sunday of the month, which means we get to do it four times a year. Everyone benefits when our kids are part of the Sunday service.
Our Sunday morning program for kids (preschool through 4th grade) is called Kids in Christ's Kingdom, abbreviated K.I.C.K. It's one of the best programs I've seen. We put a lot of resources into it. I'm super proud of all the volunteers who run it. But what really makes it great--I'm sure we all agree--is the kids.
Youth Sunday is the time when we call those great kids from their great program, and ask them to join us "big people" upstairs. I hope they benefit from our service. I'm sure we benefit from having them. The church's kids are examples to all of us in enthusiasm, in innocence, in sincerity, in trusting God and caring about other people.

The Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. I hope you can be there this Sunday to learn from them.
Every Sunday at 10 a.m. we celebrate God's resurrection power at work in those who follow Jesus. Come hang out with us as the family of God.
