Blessing the Children

The Bible tells us that Jesus blessed the children.

He wanted to spend time with them. He wanted them to know that God's Kingdom was for people like them. He wanted their parents, and his disciples, and everybody, to know that God welcomes people who are humble, people who trust, people who are ready to learn and grow.

At Laughlintown Christian Church, we are having a Back to School Bash tomorrow. (Saturday, August 24, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.) I hope lots of parents and kids are able to come. I hope that everyone knows that we are here to bless children, here to serve the community, all in Jesus' name.

Every Sunday when we gather at 10 a.m. to worship, we are welcoming children, blessing everybody, providing a special program for the kids (preschool to 4th grade), and serving the community--all in Jesus' name.

Come join us Saturday. Come join us for Sunday services. Let us know if we can help you in Jesus' name, meeting needs, discussing the Bible, and reminding one another that Jesus came to save and to bless.

Jesus said, "The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
